Ok, so you’re a thief… You like to steal expensive items from people’s houses, such as TVs, jewellery, and, knickers.  Oh?

More than insurance have revealed that with the rise of lingerie prices that underwear is just as appealing to thieves as electrical goods are!  With the likes of Elle Macpherson and Kelly Brook doing their own lingerie brands, consumers can spend around £85 and higher just for a pair of knickers.

We’re always seeing celebrities in underwear, whether they’re showing it on purpose or not, and it’s all so expensive, so no wonder thieves have cottoned on to it!

The majority of us are very vulnerable when it comes to having our pants stolen as we admit to regularly hanging out out washing to dry in the garden, where we can’t see it, and it’s there for a long time!

Even though clothes lines are the main victims of stealing expensive garments, strangely research has shown that over a third of thieves will rifle through your bedroom drawers first in the hunt for valuable items.  Maybe that’s how it started, people would hide valuables in their knicker draw, and then the thieves have now realised that the knickers are worth the same as the other items, and take the lot!

Eww, some people are so odd!  Stop ‘knicker nicking’!!!

We all know that celebrity style influences many.  With weight issues and model figures, too many girls and women want to be thin to look like the catwalk celebrities.  However, research has shown that men, and many women, think that curves look SO much better on a woman, and it looks sexier.

TV series Mad Men has been a huge hit recently in the UK, and all the women in the programme wear waist and hip enhancing corsets and dresses all the time!  They look fabulous, classy, and so appealing!

The perfect hourglass figure is definitely what men want, and so should women!  Now summer is coming to an end, we’ll all be looking for the perfect party dresses for the party season, and what a better way to enhance your curves with some shapewear that will cinch your waist and make you look fantastic!?

There are those silly times when you feel like you want to play a game, and just have a laugh.  I love these, my favourite pastimes come out; Cluedo and Twister.

Twister always comes out at parties and you have a load of drunken people entwined and all shouting and screaming so that they can put their left foot on green.  It’s a truly fab game!

If you’re lucky enough to be in Los Angeles on September 10  for Fashion’s Night Out, you should definitely pop along to Andrew Christian’s West Hollywood Flagship Boutique. Andrew Christian himself is set to host an underwear Twister contest.

How amazing; models dressed in Andrew Christian Underwear only will be playing twister to compete to be the Twister Champion! Yes, fit men will be playing Twister, in just boxers!  I’m jealous!

After all this Twister talk, I think I’m going to have to find the game and take it to my friends birthday party on Friday!  I highly doubt we’ll be doing it in lingerie though!

The nations’ favourite celebrity is now releasing a calendar for 2011.  And yes, she’s in lingerie.  The cover shows her in a military cap and boots, with sexy black  lingerie too.

Cheryl has joined other celebrities such as Danielle Lloyd and Sophie Reade to release a sexy calendar for January, and I think it’s not the best move for her. Cheryl is idolised by millions, and envied by more. The image of her could dramatically change after this calendar as people thought she was a respectable star. It’s amazing what wearing a bit of sexy underwear can do to someones reputation!

The singer and X Factor judge has had a rough year, what with her divorce from Ashley Cole, her change in career and having the illness Malaria.  She’s now back on track and is working on her second album, which I’m sure will be fabulous!

I for one, like hearing about Cheryl and like seeing her on X factor, and really hope this calendar doesn’t change peoples opinions of her! I’m looking forward to seeing how amazing she looks throughout it, and wish her the best of luck! Let’s hope she has a better year next year!

For all of you who missed Gok Wan’s How To Look Good Naked last night, I’m here to tell you which bra he made his lovely lady wear!

The fashion guru dressed his lady from head toe, and made her feel fabulous, once again!  He’s amazing!  He picks clothes, underwear, shoes, gives them a total hair and make up makeover – and the ladies always look stunning at the end!

One of the items of lingerie in this episode was the Wonderbra D-G Lace Push Up in Black/Skin.  This bra is fantastic for creating an amazing shape by lifting the bust and smoothing it out.  Perfect for underneath t shirts, dresses, anything, this bra is not to be missed out on!

Many women find that a push up bra can make them look slimmer, as the waist is more visible and shows a women’s curves.  My advice is that no matter how big your boobs are (obviously if they’re huge you don’t want them touching your chin!), they need to be lifted up.

The Gossip Girl star, Taylor Momsen, revealed plenty last weekend at V Festival.  Whilst she performed on stage in a mini dress and stockings, she kept flashing the crowd — not on purpose!

I think personally, she looks fab, but many people say that for a 17 year old, it is inappropriate the way she was dressed.  As she was fronting  The Pretty Wreckless she was belting out the bands new songs with her lingerie on show.  Taylor’s cream skin hugging dress that was like a slip hardly covered anything, and her black underwear was visible underneath.

We all know that the underwear as outerwear trend is BIG this season, as now it’s getting colder we need to cover our legs up more (no!) and stockings and tights are perfect for this.  I hate having cold legs, so if I have to wear hold ups and stockings to look good this season, then I will!  It looks so daring and out there, I love it!

If you’re not daring enough to wear stockings with a suspender belt and bare legs, you can try the Henry Holland Super Suspender which still covers up your leg, whilst giving the impression you are wearing suspenders and making you look fabulous!

Who ever thought the day would come when there was a rule solely aimed at Police Officers, particularly at those in the West Midlands.  Police officers of Birmingham and around are now not aloud to wear obvious or bright coloured lingerie, and their underwear has to be ‘inconspicuous under uniform’.

Several officers have reported that they think it is a horrendous rule and they hate the fact of their superiors keeping tabs on their underwear and its exposure!

Thongs can be regularly shown when chasing criminals apparently, and no underwear should be visible through trousers. Policewomen are confused about the type of lingerie they can now wear, if thongs aren’t allowed and VPL can’t be shown, then that means that big knickers aren’t suitable too!

Are they going to have to wear something like shorts down to their knee that look like running leggings? Or they could go commando to protest, but then this would probably cause more trouble!

The girls of Britains Next Top Model have a wild shoot in store for you this week on the programme!  They’ve dressed in lingerie, swimwear and now they’ve gone even more drastic – water bottle dresses.  I say dresses, actually they don’t cover the girls bums and they are just rows of water bottles wrapped around the girls’ bodies, so they are in no way dresses!

The TV show, with Elle Macpherson, is extremely popular this time around and it is getting better and better! The 7 remaining girls are flown by helicopter to the Folgefonna glacier in Norway for their latest challenge, and are in total horror when they realise they have to stand outside and pose for the camera whilst freezing cold! All the photographers and staff have ski wear on, its hardly fair is it!

The hopefuls’ faces were painted with glittery blue starts across their eyes and face, which made them all look fabulous! They all had only 20 shots each to get their perfect shot, and in -5C, I’d get them done mega quick as my lips go blue with cold! There has been many comments about the fact that the girls are very thin, and they don’t have any fat on them to keep warm. All the girls are ok though, and I can’t wait to watch the show tonight! And I’ll be watching the show in some big knickers, keeping warm and comfortable!

The Victoria’s Secret Model, Miranda Kerr, has just announced her pregnancy.  I am so happy for her! I’ve always liked Orlando and Her as a couple, after having a huge crush on Orlando from a young age!

Miranda said she’s always wanted to have children, so she’s over the moon.  Rumours have been speculating about a pregnancy since the couple wed in July, and now it’s out!

She will join fellow lingerie models Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Heidi Klum in becoming a mum, and I think she will be great!

She thinks that Orlando is going to be fabulous dad, I hope so! The couple were engaged earlier this year, and then got married very quickly in a LA secret ceremony.

I wonder what maternity lingerie Miranda will wear? Hopefully some lovely, tasteful items! Underwear for mums is hard to find, click here to see some great sets!

September the 3rd will be all girlfriends worst nightmare — the launch of Lingerie Football League on MTV!

As you can guess, Lingerie Football is basically women playing American football, in their underwear.  The LFL will have their games televised on MTV2 every Friday night, showing summaries of all the games around the league, followed by Western and Eastern Conference Playoffs.

The programmes show the games – which is sexy models playing full contact football, yes they push and everything!  According to a league press release, ‘the LFL will give you a peek at what happens on the sidelines and in the locker rooms’.

I find this quite disturbing, there’s no way my boyfriend is staying in on 3rd September now!

Imagine if us girls in the Lingerie Please office created a football team and wore all the samples we have?! Ha. what a joke! I may suggest this to my boss for a charity event, but it can be the men who dress up in lingerie!
