Isla Fisher: I can’t resist underwear
It seems Isla Fisher was the perfect choice to play the lead role in Confessions of a Shopaholic after all – because she cannot resist hitting the shops when it comes to buying underwear.
Although the Australian actress said she is not a huge fan of designer dresses and the like, she said she loves to splash out on nice lingerie every so often.
Oh, there’s nothing really material that I can’t pass by except maybe underwear. It’s not such a good look, not having underwear,” she commented.
Indeed, the flame-haired former Home and Away star recently revealed that her secret weapon is shapewear, because it holds in all her lumpy bits so she doesn’t have to exercise.
Fitness is apparently something Fisher isn’t too interested in – it was recently reported that the 33-year-old drove her personal trainer to distraction by refusing to stick to a brutal exercise regime designed to keep her slim during filming.
“There was a list of things I couldn’t eat – it was so long, there was nothing left that I could eat! It was awful,” she said.
Fisher plays Becky Bloomwood in the Shopaholic film, which is adapted from the series of books by Sophie Kinsella.
