Celeb’s show us there underwear (in a musuem)
The world’s first museum for famous lingerie musuem has been opened in Brussels by Belgium artist Jan Bucquoy. Bucquoy has always used the lingerie theme in his work, one of his most famous pieces of artwork features Margaret Thatcher, John F. Kennedy and Adolf Hitler wearing underpants on their heads…hoping not their own pants.
His latest exhibition features underwear from many celebrities, mainly Belgium artists, singers, musicians and politicians and any celebrity can appear as long as they have worn the underwear for one day. Bucquoy cliams that the lingerie is ‘poetry’ and wants to give it a new lease of life by displaying it beautifully in a frame. Not sure that the pair of faded blue boxer shorts belonging to Belgian Finance Minister, Didier Reynders would look as pretty as lingerie please’s Amourette 300 bra and short. All gorgeous and lacy.
The artist hopes to get many more celebrities involved but we think we could create an even more beautiful museum in the Lingerie please office….displaying all the latest lingerie.
