Imagine going into a lingerie store that was entirely staffed by men?
Strange but true….in Saudi Arabia were a man and a women can’t even stand in the same room unless they are married this is the case and it is causing uproar as women are being forced to by the most intimate of products in from of men. As we at Lingerieplease know, lingerie is difficult to buy as you must ensure the size, colour and style is right otherwise damage could be caused therefore would you feel comfortable discussing this with a man.
The reason for this bizaar situation is the strict regulations of the Saudi society , In 2006, the Saudi government passed a law stating that women should be allowed to staff any shops that sell women’s items, be it clothing, accessories or underwear. However we imagine this must be just as embarrassing for the men who are working in the shops, having to measure women’s bra sizes and comment on the sizing,style of the gorgeous bras on offer.
