We all love celebrity collaborations, but this one is even better! Usher actually wants to design his own range of underwear, along with the help of friend and Jimmy Choo’s boss Tamara Mellon.

I’m pleased that he’s asking for a female partner, as a lot of the time men pick out the tackiest underwear!  I’m hoping that Tamara can use her experience of the industry to ensure the designs are amazing!!  Of course, I am not for one second

saying Usher hasn’t got good taste, he’s MAJORLY into his ladies and has huuuuge sex appeal!

The ‘OMG’ star has a new album coming out in August, which is the deluxe edition of Raymond V Raymond, called Versus – I can’t wait!  So he’s now a singer, writer, performer AND a bra and knickers designer!

I for one will definitely be going to check out the new range when he releases the underwear collection, and I’m sure all the other Usher fans out there will be also!  Let’s hope he makes us all feel sexy, just like him!

Today I had a lingerie buying meeting with one of our brands.  It was fun! I haven’t been to one before and I really enjoyed it! 

Throughout the meeting we were told about the importance of bra fitting and wearing a bra that fits perfectly.  Apparently you need to be fitted regularly as there is so much variation in styles and brands. 

I began wondering if I had the right size bra on, when I was told what shows a bra doesn’t fit.  Apparently the wearers bra strap will fall down, *queue, my bra strap fell down*, it will appear you have bits of breast bulging out in places it shouldn’t, *I glanced down,oh dear, it looks like I have 4 breasts!* and also the back of the bra rises up *luckily I couldn’t see this*.

I was also told that wearing the wrong size bra can give you a bad back, *oops, I’ve had one for years!*

On Saturday the first thing I am doing is going shopping for a number of new bras! And I am going to get fitted for each one!

Amazing VB was very much enjoying her shopping trip in Beverly Hills the other day picking out extremely sexy and seductive underwear to transform herself into 3 different roles; S&M, Romantic and Playful.

Now that summer is finally here, I couldn’t wait to get my strapless summer dresses out! Perfect for going for drinks with friends or shopping trips, a strapless dress makes me feel girly and summery!  The only thing is, the strapless bras are SUCH a pain! – Especially for those with a bigger bust.

I used to have just any old strapless bra, but a month ago I thought I needed some new underwear, and I purchased a Wonderbra Ultimate strapless bra.  I have to say – it is amazing! I actually can jump up and down in it and it all stays up!

One thing I cannot stand is seeing a strapless dress or top with bra straps showing! Buy a strapless bra – it makes the dress look beautiful!

Also, for those winter posh party dresses, a strapless bra always comes in handy! I’ve got a ball to go to in November (lucky me!) and I am definitely going to buy a strapless floor length dress now that I have the perfect underwear for underneath!

One topic of conversation that came up in the office today was cosmetic surgery; ‘would you have a boob job/reduction?’  I’m unsure about the whole idea – however this is because I am such a wimp when it comes to needles/blood!

A couple of the girls said they would consider it, however the most shocking thing was that many people said they didn’t need to have a boob job if they had a good bra.  A good push up bra that can contain gel, air or just padding can transform your overall look dramatically.  I know I feel this way, but I didn’t realise so many others did also. 

This conversation then started going on further to liposuction etc, in which the majority of us still insisted that shapewear and magic knickers is just as effective; cheaper, less painful and less gross!

After this I started asking which bras the girls had, and the best ones which push up your breasts and give you a great cleavage.  The results were the Wonderbra Multiplunge, Gossard Superboost Plunge and the Panache Atlantis which contains liquid. 

Think to yourself, exactly how far would you go, and how much money would you spend on cosmetic surgery when you can go through a lot less pain and just wear the correct underwear for you!

Wow is all we can say today after seeing how AMAZING Alesha Dixon looked on stage in Wigan on Tuesday night! Wearing only a basque with a sheer black dress over the top, she made the outerwear as underwear trend we’ve seen on people look very tame!

I’m all for the sexy style, (not that I can pull it off in the slightest) and I have to say I want to wear the very same outfit Alesha is!

I remember the days when my Dad used to say ‘You’re not going out in that are you?!’ – This was of course a rhetorical question! Unless I was in a polar neck and jeans he wasn’t satisfied! I’m sure you’ve all experienced this to some level, and now that we are old enough to decide what we want to wear, I think we should all rebel and go for the wild and outrageous look!

We all want to be noticed, so what about we buy basques and suspenders like the Panache Basque, and the Gossard Suspenders to really wow the people you walk past in the street!

Well the day has been a sad one from when I looked in the mirror this morning and I saw a bump around my tummy area – too much chocolate has been devoured!  To sort this problem out, I quickly took to my underwear draw and pulled out my shapewear! I instantly felt better and my stomach was completely flat – I just had to get the breathing sorted!

When I arrived at the office one of my colleagues asked if I had lost weight – wow, the Spanx higher power pants really work!  I’ve never been so chuffed!

I tried to limit my food intake today, but as usual, was starving! I ate a pringle from one of the girls, 5 minutes later I looked down and to my horror nearly half the tub had gone! No lunch for me…

I don’t know about you guys but I cannot diet.  Thats it.  Cannot diet.  I love food too much, and even when I starve for a week I lose a measly pound!  So these shaping underwear really are amazing for me, they do everything I want them to; I look slimmer, and I can still eat as much as I like!

This feeling must have been brought on by watching Britains Next Top Model – I am such a green eyed monster watching them all!

Hi there fellow lingerieplease readers! Yesterday in the office we stumbled across quite a disturbing new type of underwear – the C string.  As you can tell by its familiar name, it is a replacement of the G string, however we think it doesn’t need changing!!

The C string looks more like a headband to us! It doesn’t have any sides or wasitband to avoid all VPLs, however we cannot understand how it doesn’t move around! It has an internal frame that hugs the body – is this going to dig in??!

Now here at LingeriePlease we are all for the erasing of VPLs, however surely its going to be so uncomfortable!

We much prefer the Gossard sating thong to cover up the unwanted seams! Let us know what you think!
