Keep your bras on a leash!
Have you ever heard of a bra eating Rottweiler? Now you have! I stumbled across an article today whilst looking for lingerie news, that was about a rottweiler named Molly. Molly had eaten 12 bras and was ‘skeletal’ according to the vet.
Molly had to undergo surgery to remove the wiring from the undergarments. The vet said that the underwear could have been inside the dogs tummy for up to 3 months, and the bras were from a lady of a fuller figure. The vet said “In my opinion the owners of this dog by their negligence caused her unnecessary suffering over a considerable period of time in not seeking veterinary attention for her obvious emaciation and vomiting.”
The dogs owners have been banned from having a pet for five years, and fined £200. Molly is now with new owners and recovering nicely, and lets hope she doesn’t move on to eating knickers or thongs next!
