Since John Galliano was found guilty of anti- Semitic behaviour last year it has now been confirmed that the award that was once given to him for his services to the fashion industry in 2010, he no longer deserves. The award made the fashion designer Chevalier of the Legion of Honour.
Galliano was fined £3,507 plus a further £1,753 following a second complaint last year after he stood on trial. He blamed his behaviour on work related stress and has kept a low profile since the trail and it is believed he has been in rehab seeking help.

Following this he was also dropped from his own label, John Galliano, which Dior owned the majority of, 92% The British Designer also came subject to negative comments from high profile people such as Karl Largerfeld who is the designer for Chanel, and Natalie Portman threating to quit the brand unless Galliano was removed.
