Since John Galliano was found guilty of anti- Semitic behaviour last year it has now been confirmed that the award that was once given to him for his services to the fashion industry in 2010, he no longer deserves. The award made the fashion designer Chevalier of the Legion of Honour.

Galliano was fined £3,507 plus a further £1,753 following a second complaint last year after he stood on trial. He blamed his behaviour on work related stress and has kept a low profile since the trail and it is believed he has been in rehab seeking help.

John Galliano was the former director for Christian Dior; he was fired due to disgrace. Following this he was also dropped from his own label, John Galliano, which Dior owned the majority of, 92% The British Designer also came subject to negative comments from high profile people such as Karl Largerfeld who is the designer for Chanel, and Natalie Portman threating to quit the brand unless Galliano was removed. There has been much debate over what is thought to be sexy underwear. Bjorn Borg brand conducted a survey asking women and men worldwide what they think is attractive. Naturally women preferred romantic feminine underwear, whilst men said anything that was flirtatious and a bit naughty.

Looking at the survey opinions differed between women worldwide, with the French proving to be the sexiest of us all. It also showed that Spanish women were rather daring when it came to their choice of sexy underwear and catered to what men liked. Other parts of Europe such as Germany and Sweden preferred plain and simple underwear, which equated to men as boring and frumpy.

Lots of women claimed that they stepped up their underwear choice when going on a date, but I am afraid that British men may be disappointed to know that us British women had the lowest score when it came to choosing sexy underwear for a dinner date. It is only dinner after all!

Wearing romantic or flirty underwear can give you a confidence boost, so ladies maybe it’s time to start thinking a bit more into your choice of underwear. Why not give it a try and see if your confidence receives a boost. Do let us know your thoughts on what underwear you’d wear on a date.

Curvaceous Kelly Brook has launched her second lingerie line for the high street retailer New Look. The collection is designed for women with curves- with sizes starting from 34B up to 36F. The collection is inspired by classic vintage styles that have all be designed to flatter a woman’s figure. Kelly has successfully designed a previous swimwear, clothing and a first lingerie collection for New Look, so this second collection comes of no surprise. The range features delicate lace detail, pleated satins, polka dots and animal prints. Overall the collection is sexy, flirty and super-feminine, with Kelly having said ‘I am so excited about my second lingerie collection – it’s gorgeous and feminine with a few sexy pieces thrown into the mix. Fearne announced earlier this month that she is expecting her first baby, with her boyfriend Jesse Wood. Jesse is the son of Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones. Fearne has been spotted wearing looser clothing to adapt to her new growing body shape. Not only are there no more body-con dresses for Fearne for the next nine months she is also looking to new maternity underwear. Her friends at Radio 1 tweeted a picture of a maternity bra that Fearnes dad bought for her as a bit of a joke. We say give in to the comfort that maternity underwear can offer, but why sacrifice for plain, old looking bras just because you are pregnant? This weekend Shropshire will see thousands pile in for the annual festival brought to you by Virgin. For those of us who sadly will not be partying to The Stone Roses, The Killers and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds who are set to headline this year’s V Festival, can catch the two day festival on channel 4. Calling all of you lucky, lucky Americans! Keep your eyes peeled for silver statues of the half-naked David Beckham that will be popping up around your major cities this week. No you have not died and gone to heaven, these statues could be seen back in February across London as H&M promoted their first DB collection. Now H&M are releasing their second collection these 10-foot statues will be placed across New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In total there will be nine statues revealing David Beckham in his underwear. And here is the best bit (yes it gets better!) have your photograph taken next to the footballers statue using the app Instagram, post your picture to Twitter with the hash tag #HMBeckham and you will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win signed underwear by the man himself, $1000 shopping spree in H&M or a mini replica of David Beckhams statue. The Kardashian sisters will be releasing their ready-to-wear clothing and handbag range later this year. The collection will hit stores owned by Sir Phillip Green, BHS and Dorothy Perkins. The Kardashian’s rose to fame with their hit reality TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians. As well as retailing in the UK their collection will hit 13 other countries whilst already being on sale in a US department store. Sir Philip Green said ‘I felt there was an excellent fit for Dorothy Perkins. I believe our customers will love the fashion looks.’ Kim tweeted ‘We’re so happy to finally be able to share the Kollection with our fans in other countries. Last night the Spice Girls preformed at the London Olympics closing ceremony. The girls preformed two songs; their breakthrough hit Wannabe and their 1997 No1 hit Spice Up Your Life. The group arrived into the park on top of iconic black cabs and each group member dressed to represent their original Spice Girls persona. Posh spice wore a black strapless dress by Giles Deacon; Geri was in a Suzanne Neville dress that featured a Union Jack bustle; Baby spice stuck to a hot pink dress by Maggie Cooke; Sporty spice wore an all white jumpsuit that was made especially for her by JD Sports and Mel B stole the show in a Zuhair Murad gold sequin bodysuit. A recent survey has suggested that despite the fact that so many of us Brits are holidaying each year couples are regularly arguing on their holidays for a number of reasons.

The most common of these reasons is men ogling other women in their bikinis which leads to the most arguments. Other reasons that are most common aside from men looking at women in their swimwear are; one of the couple drinking too much alcohol, driving or map reading, women taking too long to get ready and men wanting to do something rather than lounge on the beach.

With London 2012 Olympic game’s going so well for Team GB, there has not been a sporting event where we have ever felt prouder to be British. Congratulations to the gorgeous Victoria Pendleton who has won a gold medal for Great Britain, making it 3 gold’s in the past 24 hours! She is known as ‘Cycling’s golden girl’ and Victoria does not us let down.

Alongside Victoria’s hectic schedule of training for the Olympic Games she is also planning her wedding! Reported that Victoria spends her days off shopping for that perfect dress as she finds it a great way to escape from her intense schedule. Well, now Victoria can relax a little with her gold medal around her neck, she may want to think about the perfect wedding underwear to wear on her all-important day.
