Katy Perry took on Mexico by storm today at her perfume launch of Purr By Katy Perry.

Dressed in a stunning purple glitzy dress, she wowed the viewers in a very revealing and short dress.  The neckline was incredibly plunging, showing her entire cleavage, with just a sheer nude band across her breasts.

Obviously, I’m glad she wore the nude band, however surely this is too revealing for launching a new fragrance?  I’m sure the journalists weren’t interested in the smell at all!  Maybe next time she should pick a different dress, to ensure she can wear a bra!

The film ‘Burlesque’ is out this Friday, and with a few members of our team already having seen the screening, apparently it’s one not to miss!  Why not spruce up your cinema trip by wearing the same outfits as the cast?!

As I always say, I hate black clothing with white lingerie underneath — it looks wrong.

Why wear white underwear, when you have black?  On the other hand, I’d probably still wear a black bra with light coloured clothing, unless it was a smart do!

Michelle Keegan, from Coronation Street, attended the the annual United For Unicef gala dinner at Manchester United’s Old Trafford ground last night, and for once, she didn’t make a great impression.

From the front, she looked stunning in a floor length black gown, however, when she turned around, white underwear was showing through the sheer fabric!  White shorts under a black dress are not a good look!

The shorts actually look like the Triumph Amourette Maxi Brief, or the Sloggi Basic Maxi Brief!

It seems Michelle is also a fan of Bridget Jones style pants!  I think I need to send the Corrie star some black lingerie!

Lady Gaga is well known for her raunchy and outrageous outfit choices, and she’s also known as being a drama queen!

Being the full blown diva, Gaga has now said she will only wear 100% silk knickers, and is moving onto the idea that all her lingerie should be silk.

She’s replaced all her old knickers, and has banned all polyester, cotton and lycra, with the newly demanded silk ones — which has added up to an astonishing £7000!  It’s driving her assistant crazy, she’s really taking this fetish seriously.

She said that the silk feels soft on her skin, and allows her skin to breathe, which will allow her to be more creative with her songs, and more efficient.  If you say so Gaga!

Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to marry next year, after William proposed with a very special ring.

He gave Kate his mother’s, Diana, ring to ask for his hand in marriage – so sweet!  He proposed in Kenya last month while they were on holiday there, and they are planning the wedding for sometime next year.

Now what we all want to know, is what is stylish Kate’s dress going to look like, and I want to know of course, what bridal lingerie is she going to choose?

I’d be happy to send her lots and lots of choice from our fabulous wedding underwear section!

Rihanna is truly stunning; her beautiful hair, face and clothes always makes her look fabulous!

Imagine my delight when I saw photo’s of her performance in Milan for Italian X Factor, wearing a long line bra and knickers!  She looked amazing, and her performance was fantastic!

Long line bras are huge this season, topping off the underwear as outerwear trend to the max, the top-like bra is sexy and sophisticated.  Teamed with high waisted skirts and shorts, you can look like a true fashionista too, just like the celebs!

My favourite long line bra is the Ooh La La Longline Plunge from Gossard, and match it up with the thong and suspender for a super stylish look!

Emma Watson is one of my idols, her and SJP take up my desktop background at work in equally amazing dresses!  However, when one of them has a fashion nightmare, I don’t like it!

At the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 premiere last night in London, ‘Hermione’ wore a stunning black lace and feather dress by Rafael Lopez for Atelier Mayer, teamed with black heels by Charlotte Olympia.

The dress must have been a bit loose, as she had to tape the dress to her back.  Fashion tape is amazing, however not when applied incorrectly.  Poor Emma’s tape started to come loose, and show on her back! It was all wrinkly and visible as her dress slid down!

Its a sad day when this happens, I always envy the stunning actress, and she looked absolutely amazing, from the front!

I love it when there’s some innovation in the lingerie industry, as it is actually quite hard to do!  Its easy to make a new style bra/thong/one piece, but the actual function behind it is pretty standard.

So imagine my shock when I see some magnetic lingerie, yes you heard correctly!  After reading this I had many ideas of what it could be in my head, and I was pleasantly surprised.  The lingerie is normal, it’s just the fastenings that are magnetic, so your underwear is held on by magnets.  Hmm.

These practically invisible magnets hold together the sides of the briefs, and the front of the bra (like a front fastening one!)  The collection is pricey, but very different!

This may just be ridiculous, but honestly, all I can image is a lady eating her tea wearing said lingerie, and the fork flying out of her hand and sticking to her bra!  Or when she’s sat at work, hairgrips and other magnetic objects flying at her!  Obviously I know the magnets aren’t going to be this strong, but it’s quite an amusing thought!

Vogue, December 2010 features the beautiful Lara Stone with nipple stickers.  Yes, nipple stickers, or ‘pasties’ as they have been called!

Now think back to a year ago and Lindsay Lohan’s collection for Ungaro where models walked down the catwalk wearing nipple stickers, and got slated.  This collection was a shambles, as it was humour that got people talking about it, not the clothing!

The burlesque style, sequined ‘pasties’ are truly fascinating.  Bringing eyes down to your sparkly breasts and showing your natural cleavage, who doesn’t love it!

In said Vogue, the Calvin Klein model got off lightly as supermodels Lily Donaldson and Kate Moss cover her chest in the shoot.  Naomi Campbell and Angela Lindvall on the other hand.. They bare all.

Here at Lingerie please, we love a underwear story like this one! Braza do many lingerie accessories like this, bra solutions are the future!  I happen to own a plain pair, simply for outfit and boob-horror times, and they actually do work!

Well you can imagine my shock when I saw a human being on top of a giant christmas tree.  Yes, you heard me correctly.

Chantelle Houghton, was hoisted 54ft into the area and perched on the top of a huge christmas tree in Lakeside shopping centre in Essex.

The lingerie model later revealed that she was terrified whilst up there, even though she was strapped in with a harness under the huge fairy/princess like dress.  I hope her knickers weren’t on show!

Is it me or is this ridiculous?  To me it seems like one of those ‘Don’t try this at home’ stunt, and a girl would dress up like a fairy and try and replace the ornament at the top of the tree, getting pine needles stuck all over her as she climbs!

Chantelle is said to becoming more famous, now being the face of a lingerie brand and being on Ultimate Big Brother.  But does she really need to pull a stunt like this just to be recognised??  To be honest, she did go into Celebrity Big Brother and pretend to be a celebrity…
