People go under the knife for breast enhancement surgery every day, and I’ve always been against it.  Even more so when I started working at Lingerie Please, and found the wonders of Wonderbra!

So many celebrities have had breast surgery, and then we all have to see the results splashed all over newspapers, and then we also see the downside; when they droop or suddenly one breast looks bigger than her head.

Tori Spelling, the American actress, admitted to going under the knife after photos of her were posted with sunken and mis-shapen breasts a few years after she’d had the surgery.

Is it me or are so many celebrities pregnant at the moment?

To name but a few, Kate Hudson, Mel B and Victoria Beckham are all expecting – but they don’t seem to look tired and frumpy like many normal women when they’re carrying a bump around and eating for two!  We know that maternity lingerie has a huge impact on how you feel and look when you’re pregnant; you need it supportive, but also you don’t want it to be ugly and boring, otherwise you will feel it too!  Cake Lingerie do some fabulous designs, still offering comfort and support, and really do make you feel fabulous.  Forget the boring nursing bras – Lingerie please have saved your life for the next 9 months or so!

Victoria Beckham is, Victoria Beckham! No matter what, she always looks fabulous.  She dresses perfectly, and managed to hide her bump for a long time!  She’ll have an enormous selection of maternity bras I’m sure!

Mel B has only just announced she is pregnant, but she will definitely be needing some of our fabulous Cake Lingerie soon!

Remember Britney Spears in her Toxic music video in 2004?  Wearing nothing but a sheer diamond bodysuit?  Yeah, hard to forget really!

Well it’s been replicated, by the lovely Amanda Holden of all people!  She was promoting this Fridays Euro Millions draw – people certainly won’t forget it now!

The BGT Judge wore very little underwear, with a completely sheer dress over the top, covered in diamonds.  She must have had a strapless bra on, and maybe a thong, otherwise she’d have been so uncomfortable with diamonds digging in all over her!

She does however, look incredible.  It looks like she’s wearing shapewear – her curves are so defined.  After her unfortunate pregnancy trauma last year, it’s so good to see her looking well and beautiful!

I’m all for trying out new products; cellulite blasters, wrinkle vanishers etc, but really, a cream that enhances your cleavage?.. OK.

Sales of said creams have increased recently, along with those of push up bras.  See, the latter shows people have sense; the best way to getting a fantastic cleavage is by a fabulous push up bra.  Gel bras, air, padding – all are amazing in their own way!

With size zero models no longer being admired, and curvacious celebs such as Kim Kardashian and Christina Hendricks being everywhere, we can see why there’s so much cleavage hype!

I find it hilarious how people in denial really will believe anything you say – I think I’m going to send a Press Release round saying that eating 7 bars of chocolate a day has the opposite effect and makes you lose a stone in a week!

So, no, a jar won’t help you in the breast department, I’d recommend a good anti wrinkle cream for those wrinkly areas, but a push up bra really is all you need!

Browsing the net for lingerie related stories, the best I can find is a nobody stripping off for a tacky photoshoot.

I’m not a bitter person, but I really do hate these reality TV shows and the way they make tacky girls and vile boys famous.  The Only Way Is Essex is such bad TV, while my flatmate was watching it the other night, I washed up and cleaned the whole kitchen – and I hate cleaning.

Anyway, Lucy Mecklenburgh, The Only Way Is Essex, was dating Mark Wright for a while until their split at Christmas.  The 19 year old (yes, 19 – is followed by paparazzi and strips off already!) appears to have tried to get her own back by looking sexy in a photoshoot for Zoo magazine.

Dressed in lacy black lingerie, white lingerie, and then a ridiculous over the top diamante number, she looks every part the glamour model.  She’s got a great figure and the push up bras give her a fantastic cleavage!

It’s hard to say what age is the right age to start wearing a bra – I guess it’s just whenever you have the bust to fill one, and need supporting.  However, surely the age of 8 is a little too far?

A large retailer has been slated for selling bras that start from as young as age 8, with sizes from size 28AA to 34A.  A pink gingham print bra, for very cheap, was deisgned to give young and petite girls the appearance of a developed bust.  With gel bras, push up bras and plunge bras, too many girls are changing the way they look at a young age.

With children now aspiring to be like role models such as Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez (all Disney stars) then can we really blame the girls for wanting to have the same shape of them too?  Therefore, I suppose there was indeed a gap in the market for this product.  It is however, inappropriate and this sort of dress shouldn’t be encouraged to pre-teenagers.

Other retailers have been criticised for inappropriate products before, and one was once forced to stop selling padded bikinis to 7 and 8 year olds.  The fact that it also states that there is matching lingerie available encourages children to wear matching sets – something that adults do to look sexy!

I seriously think that kids these days grow up too fast!  Having a bra is the start of really growing up, so why do that at 8 years of age?!

It’s that time of year again that we dread, Lent.  We give something up that we love for 40 days, only to find that after the 40days, we despise it.

I’ve given up chocolate, and I’ve done extremely well these past 48hours! I also joked saying that I was giving up the gym, however, it needs to be the other way around!

It’s approaching summer, we need to be thinking about our bikini bods, and I for one am going to get my sports bra out and hit the gym, hard!  Don’t get me wrong, I hate the gym as much as any other sane person, but when I see people like Nicole Murphy (Eddie Murphy’s ex wife) in an exercise bra and shorts, with her toned abs – I get jealous!

Why don’t you all follow suit and get a Shock Absorber Sports Bra today, some Ronhill Shorts and get running!?
