Saturday’s Una Expecting!

Tuesday, October 4th, 2011

Una from the Saturdays is expecting a baby! The star revealed to all of her fans over Twitter that indeed the rumours were true and her and partner Ben Foden are to be expecting a ‘Benuna’.

The star recently attended the ‘Pride Of Britain Awards’ looking radiant and fresh faced however with little sign of a growing bump. There wasn’t a piece of maternity wear in sight as she tottered along with the other Saturday’s members in high heels. The star wore a beautiful asymetric dress and was positively glowing obviously delighted about the news.

She previously defended the band saying that news of her pregnancy would not be affecting the bands line up. So all Saturday’s fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Maybe she should try Lingerie Please for some beautiful lingerie now she is expecting? what do you think?

Baby Bump!

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

Is it me or are so many celebrities pregnant at the moment?

To name but a few, Kate Hudson, Mel B and Victoria Beckham are all expecting – but they don’t seem to look tired and frumpy like many normal women when they’re carrying a bump around and eating for two!  We know that maternity lingerie has a huge impact on how you feel and look when you’re pregnant; you need it supportive, but also you don’t want it to be ugly and boring, otherwise you will feel it too!  Cake Lingerie do some fabulous designs, still offering comfort and support, and really do make you feel fabulous.  Forget the boring nursing brasLingerie please have saved your life for the next 9 months or so!

Kate Hudson is over 6 months pregnant, yet she looks absolutely fabulous!  She was seen last night partying with friends Fergie, Josh Duhamel (wow!) and Jake Shears, wearing a red jumper dress that showed her lovely little (well, not so!) bumb.

Victoria Beckham is, Victoria Beckham! No matter what, she always looks fabulous.  She dresses perfectly, and managed to hide her bump for a long time!  She’ll have an enormous selection of maternity bras I’m sure!

Mel B has only just announced she is pregnant, but she will definitely be needing some of our fabulous Cake Lingerie soon!

Pregnant Pink?

Friday, February 18th, 2011

Singer and Mum To Be, Pink’s assets have definitely had a maternal boost.  She was seen in Santa Monica taking pictures with her camera, and the plunging neckline of her maxi dress really pushed her up!

The eyeful was huge!  She’s obviously had a huge increase in the size of her bust throughout pregnancy, and not realised!

It appeared she wasn’t even wearing a bra :/

She needs needs needs to get a good set of maternity lingerie!  A nursing bra will ensure maximum comfort and keep her in a good shape, rather than spilling out all over the show!

Under The Knife Or Under The Spanx?

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Over and over again I read articles about plastic surgery and liposuction, and it physically makes me feel in pain!  Celebrities are the worst for it, they can’t seem to stand the fact that they may have put on a bit of weight, and even worse if it is post-baby!

Surely you’d think that losing the baby weight would be the last thing on your mind when you have a beautiful new little member of the family around?  Celebs such as Victoria Beckham and Giselle Bundchen dieted majorly and had the weight off within 2 months, whereas Chanelle Hayes has gone under the knife for liposuction and a boob job.

Yes, it gets the weight off.  Yes, it leaves flabby skin.  And Yes, it leaves scars!

I personally would recommend enjoying life with your newborn, and trying to sleep rather than worrying about your weight!  I’m not saying I would stay looking pregnant for years to come, but gradually losing weight is the best way forward!  You can just turn to Lingerie please for your help!

Treat yourself to some amazing shapewear, like the Spanx Higher Power, and staying comfy in maternity lingerie and nursing bras!

How To Choose A Nursing Bra From Lingerie Please

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

Cookies n Cream

As your pregnancy progresses your breast will increase in size and this may mean that you no longer fit comfortably into any of your usual bras. It is now time to buy some maternity/nursing lingerie. Women in their 4 month of pregnancy usually feel more comfortable is something better fitted to their changing body and Lingerie Please is here to help.

Whilst maternity and nursing bras do differ slightly (in that on a nursing bra the front of the cups can be easily detached for feeding) most ladies like to save money by simply purchasing a nursing bra as this will still offer fantastic support throughout your pregnancy and will come in handy when the time comes to begin feeding.

Comfort and fit are absolutely essential, your new bra must feet comfortable without puckering and we advise that you choose a back size that fits on the tightest hook when first purchased to allow for the expansion of your rib cage further down the line. Make sure that the band fits comfortably below the shoulder blades, snug enough to stay in place when you raise your arms but loose enough to keep you comfortable.

Ensure the straps are slightly wider than the ones on your usual bra; this will help to support you comfortably without digging into your shoulders.

Make sure you choose a bra that will make you look and feel pretty and feminine. This is a challenging time for your body and with all the added stress of carrying a baby you need to feel fabulous. Pick something from our Cake Lingerie Range and we are sure you will find the perfect maternity lingerie to make you look, feel and be beautiful.
