An interesting story that caught my eye recently, talked about March being a month where people did two things the most. The first being partying and the second involves springing into shape!

Apparently a new sport has emerged in the US and it is heading to Australia and possibly to us next! The lingerie football league is the brainchild of a technology executive who cashed in in the 1990s on the technology boom. He has now set his sights on lingerie football. The premise is much the same as American football, however to increase numbers to women’s football it is being played by.. Yes you guessed it, models in their underwear.

The sport is just as brutal as American football with the same tackles and headgear the difference being it will most likely be watched for different reasons! The girls are wearing pretty sports bras and matching briefs as well as helmets and gum guards and knee high socks.

The founder insists however that this isn’t objectifying women and that in fact it is empowering women as it is a strong sport and they compete at a national level. We at Lingerie Please aren’t so sure, don’t we have enough to live up to with underwear models never mind it filtering in to sport too! What do you think?

It’s that time of year again that we dread, Lent.  We give something up that we love for 40 days, only to find that after the 40days, we despise it.

Due to my recent joining of the gym, I decided I needed a sports bra after being extremely uncomfortable!  I’ve always had a thing about how ugly they are, but I now know they are truly needed!

I bought the Triumph Tri-Action Extreme Bra – and it really is amazing!  I liked how it looks cool too, with the red piping, grey detailing and the thick black band which supports you amazingly and ensures comfort.  The thick straps mean that there’s no digging in too!

Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted at the gym earlier today, sporting a very similar sports bra – see, I told you they’re cool!  If a supermodel can wear one, then we all definitely can!
