As you all may have read, Kate Middleton has been the victim of the press this week pictured in the French version of closer magazine in topless photos whilst holidaying with Prince William.
It is claimed that the photos were offered to British press first but they were rightly rejected, however this did not stop the French press and since the publication came out, Italian newspaper Chi has now gone on to publish a 26 page spread featuring photos of the Duchess of Cambridge.
The Royal Couple are now set to take legal action against the magazines. Whilst hoping to sue French closer they are also aiming to put a block on any further publication of the magazines.
Whilst celebrities are frequently snapped in their bikinis or enjoying their holidays, it is questionable whether the press have took it a step too far photographing the royal company on a private holiday.
It also has to be considered why the situation is being looked upon so negatively by the press when millions of people sunbathe topless all the time! Prince William is said to believe that hassle from the press played an element in his mother Diana’s death and just days after the anniversary of her death it is not a welcomed situation.

FHM Magazine has this week announced Jorgie Porter, who plays Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks, as the soap world’s hottest girl. She has beaten the previous sexiest woman in soap Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina in Coronation Street, and landed the top spot in the magazine.
Porter can be seen in FHM’s September issue in a series of racy snaps including a shot of her in a white bikini top and red bikini bottoms.
Jorgie lost out on the title of sexiest female at the British Soap Awards to Michelle Keegan, so the title is said to have delighted the star.
The 24 year old joined the soap in 2008 and has gained vast popularity since appearing on dancing on ice and coming second to Matthew Wolfenden, an appearance that has no doubt contributed to her reputation as a sexy star.
