Last Night saw Nicki Minaj, stepping out of her hotel in London in just a bejewelled bra, wearing a small cropped denim jacket over the top. The bra seemed to be struggling with the weight of her cleavage. Although compared to her cleavage, her famous bottom was covered in a pair of stone-washed jeans with built-in boots.

Last Month, October, was Breast Cancer Awareness month. Both women and men are encouraged to check themselves regularly for any lumps. Also make sure you’re wearing the right size bra, 85% of women wear the wrong size. Here is our size guide to help you. Maybe Nicki Minaj needed a larger size to help her overspill? Here at Lingerie Please we are often talking lingerie and we fail to mention the bigger stuff that is going on in the world around us, whilst we love our bras and knickers one thing that lies close to our hearts is Breast Cancer. Breast cancer affects so many of us and is something that as women we truly care about. There is the Race For life and many other sponsored events to raise money for this worthy cause and we like to document these things as they make us realise as women we can stick together and overcome anything. It’s a very powerful message.

We were shocked to see that this 17 year old girl from Florida has created an IPhone app that can detect breast cancer. So how does it work? Apparently the app mimics the structure of the brain the program correctly identified 99% of malignant tumours and has won her a £50,000 scholarship from Google.

How fantastic is this? She has inspired hope all over the world at just 17 years of age and made a new breakthrough in science. We think its fantastic news for women everywhere what are you views? Leave us a message in the comments below.

Have you ever been wearing a dress and thought to yourself, “I wish I had more/less cleavage to complement this dress. Well Wonderbra have come up with a new invention, something we have seen similar versions of before. A bra that has a string so that you can adjust the cleavage you have.

Many of us who have  less of a bust will go out and want a padded bra to enhance our figure and give us a better overall appearance. How much cleavage is too much? Some of us do not want too much enhancing for certain occasions. A nice dress can look great with a slight cleavage but you don’t want the same cleavage as say the Wonderbra Full Effect would give you if you are going for drinks with work. The average bra size is increasing and has been doing for some time. Women’s bras are now better made to fit and people are realising that usually the back size on their bra is too big and the cup size too small and so the cup size of the average woman is increasing. The back size in women is also increasing, due to the average clothes size increasing from a size 14-16 in recent years.

One brand has decided to grow with the trend and create the world’s biggest strapless bra. This is no mean feat as the bra must have the correct support due to the weight of the breasts as well as being able to hold up the breasts without falling down. The bra also does something that a lot of bigger sized bras don’t do and that is look appealing. This bra is really pretty with its sheer fabric and print available in fuchsia and bright colours.

If your underwear draw is disorganised, your bras and pants don’t match, your bras are greying and your knickers are losing elastic then here is a definitive guide to organising your lingerie draw. Now for this to work you have to be prepared to spend a bit more and also to lose those lucky pants! If you are ready to do that then read on.

Buying underwear isn’t something we do all at once usually and so we find we have a lot of things in our lingerie draw that doesn’t match or we don’t wear. Also we often replace the bras and knickers we love with the same styles rather than branching out and trying new things. It’s because of this that our lingerie draws can become hectic and we can find that we can never find what we are looking for in the massive pile.

1)      Throw everything you don’t wear out.

First of all start off with everything you don’t wear. If you haven’t worn it in the last year that means you aren’t going to wear it and if its brand new and you regretted it the minute you bought it then make some money off it and sell it online. Make sure before you do that that it’s in good condition this will give you a bit more money to play with when buying your new underwear.

2)      Get rid of everything that has seen better days.

We all do it. We hoard items we once loved slightly too much which are now threadbare because we have worn them so much. We reason with ourselves that we have to keep those items because we might never find something similar again. Remember, however, that the point is those items can’t be worn. Hanging on to them won’t make the fabric grow back! So let your threadbare lingerie go. If it greying, has a wire poking out, holes or is losing elastic throw it in the bin!

3)      Assess what you have

So you should be left with the best items in your underwear draw. Now that will most likely be some mismatching underwear, a few basic bras, sports bras perhaps different styles of briefs. Have a look at what you have and what you need. If you have some great pink knickers that are gorgeous and you would love to wear with a pink bra then have a look for a bra that’s similar to make a set. If you do not like matching sets that’s okay but make sure the bras you have look good with the knickers you have.

4)      Think about nightwear

A lot of people when buying underwear don’t think about what they sleep in happy to sleep in a t-shirt and some fluffy socks. If you want to have a massive overhaul of your lingerie, think about what you sleep in too. Some new pyjamas or nighties or a sexy negligee can do wonders for your confidence.

5)      Buy more!

Now this doesn’t have to be a lot of lingerie. You are mainly looking for the key items you are missing so you would need at least 3 matching sets that are pretty. Lingerie for every occasion so that means a good strapless or multiway bra, some seamless knickers or thongs that are invisible under clothes and some sexy nightwear.

Finally have a look at your lingerie draw. See how much better it looks! It doesn’t cost a lot to change things. You most likely do not wear what is in that lingerie draw anyway and giving it a much needed makeover is a good idea. You can buy separators for your lingerie draw to divide bras and pants and make it easier to choose form your matching sets. If you want to be really particular you can get clear lingerie boxes so you can put each set in, but who has time for that?

Alexandra Burke recently took to the stage in a dress with a sheer wide panel down the front so that you could see the majority if her breasts at the front. A lot of critics have said she should have worn a bra as her bigger bust didn’t look to have the support she needed.

Showing a bit of boob is becoming really popular in Hollywood with a lot of stars choosing to wear plunging necklines, sheer panels and showing their side cleavage. Your side cleavage is the side of your breast which should be revealed very slightly for an alluring look. Some celebrities have taken this to the extreme with near accidents happening. If you are hoping to take on this trend then remember less is more. It should be a suggestion of flesh rather than revealing the whole thing.

If you have a larger bra size you can still reveal something if you like but reveal the front as Alexandra has done but don’t reveal as much!

Rihanna was recently pictured in a gold bandeau bra in a Cleopatra style shoot and last night she was pictured in another bandeau bra, this time it was a black bandeau bra which appears to be her new go to look.

The star isn’t unused to being in her lingerie as she has previously posed in her bikini and also in her bra and knickers for Armani.

The star was visiting an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica and she paired with her white bandeau bra a see through crocheted skirt which we are sure would have shocked a few of the diners!

Rihanna was wearing flesh coloured knickers under her see through skirt and had no visible knicker line which created the illusion of it being completely see through.

Nicole Sherzinger almost flashed her knickers at the MIB premiere last night! The star always looked lovely and is famous for her amazing figure which made her famous in the Pussy Cat Dolls which was a pop group inspired by a burlesque dance troupe.

Nicole decided to ‘do an Angelina Jolie’ and go for split up the leg of her dress. You couldn’t see her bra in the see-through corset of the dress it was some much disguised lingerie. However with the slightest gust of wind you would have been able to see her knickers!

Boyfriend Lewis Hamilton looked on as struggled down the steps clutching the material of her dress and guided her by hand towards the cinema.

Nicole Sherzinger looked fabulous despite the wardrobe malfunction but then again we always love her here at Lingerie Please!

A crazy “Ice Pack Bra” has been invented to keep you cool during the summer. The new bra was unveiled by Triumph in Tokyo the place for innovative inventions. The new super cool bra has gel pads which should be put in the freezer for two hours to freeze them before inserting them into the bra. The bra weirdly is also adorned with a sprig of mint and a miniature wind chime.

Both cups of the bra have been designed to look like fishbowls with a fish and seaweed pattern. This cooling bra however will not be going on sale and we can’t help but feel disappointed. Although we do not live in a hot country the idea in premise is actually quite good! The bra was supposed to help in a country which was expecting a large electricity shortfall.

Anthea Turner is a television favourite and famous for such shows as Blue Peter and Wish You Were Here. Anthea has been part of breast cancer charities for a while and so it was no surprise when she turned up at midnight last night for the MoonWalk marathon to raise money for breast cancer. Like many of those that take part in this walk, Anthea and her friends have been affected by breast cancer with the people close by to them having experienced it.

Anthea will be remembering her friend and former co presenter Caron Keating who died in 2004 aged just 41. The MoonWalk is such a positive experience. It is a joyous way to remember those we know and love who were strong enough to fight the disease and also to help in creating a cure.

The walk consists of many women walking at night in there bras and is a funny occasion with everyone laughing and joking whilst thinking of the people they have lost and the greater cause.
